MTB Tour – Abra del Acay

For us, this is the best downhill mountain bike that can be found throughout the region. Not only because of its vertiginous route but also thanks to the incredible landscapes that are appearing and changing as fast as we descend.

In approximately 60 kilometers of route, we will descend 2,500 meters of height! Yes.. 2,500 meters high!For every taste

The road has narrow and steep sections, but also has sections that allow you to gain more speed and get carried away by the adrenaline.

It is suitable for all tastes. Those who want to challenge themselves technically and enjoy the activity itself, find this descend as a very fast and fun dowhill.

For those who prefer to take it easy facing an unique challenge, such as crossing through the Andes mountain range at almost 5000 meters high by bicycle, will find in this tour an unforgettable experience…

Each curve offers an incredible new view; each photo is an indelible memory. On the way you will find guanacos, vicuñas, chinchillas, suris, and further down to the valley there are llamas grazing in the green meadows … it seems to be a safari more than a bike trip!!

At the end of the downhill, we will have a picnic and continue on our 4wd to the town of Cachi where we will spend the night.

Cachi is a picturesque colonial town, where it’s worth going out for a walk, sitting in the square and enjoying this little place full of peace.

In the morning we will start with our excursion. This time we will go to a place called Piedra del Molino but before arriving, we will visit the Cardones National Park.
Once at the highest point of the route, we will prepare our equipment again and we will start the second downhill mountain biking.

MTB Cuesta del Obispo

From 3,457 meters above sea level we will undertake a vertiginous descent by bicycle.
With three well-differentiated sections, two of pavement and one of gravel the total route adds 45 kilometers of extension, in which we will descend almost 1,800 meters of height!

The dowhhill mountain bike Cuesta del Obispo is for all different tastes: those who prefer to do it slowly and taking advantage of the panoramic points to take good photos and enjoy the best views can do so, and those who seek speed and live the adrenaline find in this route an unforgettable experience!!!

At the end of the downhill, we will take a break in a picturesque place to rest a little while enjoying a good picnic in the open air.
After lunch, we will drive back to the city of Salta, where we will conclude our adventure!
