Mountain Bike Cuesta del Obispo

The Downhill Mountain Bike Cuesta del Obispo is an ideal excursion for those who want to experience the mountain in a different way. 

The bike gives us the opportunity to enjoy this trip at our own rhythm, having a little more time to see all the views and incredible landscapes.

Our  tour starts when we meet at your hotel in the city of Salta. From there, we start to go up slowly towards Piedra del Molino along the Quebrada de Escoipes and the Cuesta del Obispo.

The landscape changes quickly, passing through very different places: when encountering the first mountain range, we will see a green montain forest that changes in only a few minutes into a colorful desert full of different types of cactus.

After approximately 2 hours of driving, we will reach the highest point of the road where we will begin our downhill mountain bike tour.

From the 3,457 m.a.s.l we will continue by bike. With three well-differentiated sections, pavement, gravel, and again pavement, the total route adds 45 kilometers of extension, in which we  will descend almost 1,800 meters of height!

This mountain bike is for all tastes: those who prefer to take it easy and take great pictures at the panoramic views can do so, and those who seek for speed and living the adrenaline, find in this route an unforgettable experience!!!

At the end of the Mountain Bike Cuesta del Obispo, we will take a break in a picturesque place to rest a little while enjoying a good picnic in the open air.

After lunch, we will drive back to the city of Salta, where we will conclude our adventure!
