In the morning, we will meet at your hotel to start our journey. We will gladly share with you the secrets of our region, tell you the little details that you won´t find in a book, such as cultural curiosities, stories of our people, and different anecdotes.Quebrada de las Conchas
We will be heading towards one of the most popular places in Salta: Cafayate. To get to this small town, we will travel through one of the most spectacular places of our province, “the Quebrada de las Conchas”.
This place is known for the different colors and land formations such as “El Anfiteatro”, “Los Castillos”, “La Garganta del Diablo”… In the afternoon, we will get to Cafayate, an emerging town whose development is based on wine production and tourism, with its very own High Altitude Wines. We can give you suggestions on which wineries to visit, taking this opportunity to enjoy the Malbec, Torrontes, Tannat and Cabernet Sauvignon, among others.

Today, it will seem that we travel back in time! Our path gets narrower and more deserted. We will pass by some very ancient villages, from the time of the first Spanish men who came to America. Arrows valley
We will have the opportunity to appreciate rock formations that resemble Mars at the Quebrada de las Flechas, a formation that emerges as pointy knifes in the middle of the desert, a unique view achieved only by nature! It is a spectacular day!
In the afternoon, we will arrive to Cachi, a small colonial town where time seems to have stopped forever.
We will have time to walk through its very quiet streets, and visit the square and the Church.
In the evening, we strongly recommend taking a walk around this incredible town, maybe have a coffee at the Square, and really appreciate the calmness of this place.

A few minutes from Cachi we find a hotel surrounded by a unique landscape, where you can relax and enjoy a great dinner.
This day is a very special one: it´s Safari day!! Route 40 leads us up to almost 5.000 MASL. We will drive through the high mountains of the Andes Range! The path is like a rollercoaster: full of turns and endless sights.
We will be able to see the Nevados de Cachi, Palermo, el Acay, a stunning wall of really high mountains that rise above the 6.000 mts. If we are lucky, we might be able to spot some wild animals such as herds of guanacos, vicuñas, chinchillas or even suris.
At noon, we will arrive to San Antonio de los Cobres, where we will have lunch!
After lunch, we will continue our journey and get to Salinas Grandes, where we will have time to take funny pictures, walk in the Salt Flats and enjoy the great white view!
In the afternoon, we will end this day with the spectacular view of the Cuesta del Lipan, and arrive to Purmamarca, where we can enjoy the town, relax and have a great dinner!Hotels with Style

If you are up to some outdoor activity, we can start our morning with a little walk around the Colorados path, an incredible walk behind the Seven Colors Hill. It will take about 40 minutes, but it is absolutely worth it. Quebrada de Humahuaca
We will continue traveling north, on the way we will visit Tilcara and Humahuaca, two small towns with pre-Hispanic roots.
In Tilcara we can visit the Pucara, a former pre-Inca fort. In this place we can discover the way of life of the old settlers of the canion and enjoy incredible panoramic views.
Humahuaca is a town where Andean culture and Hispanic culture converge, giving it a special charm that deserves to be discovered.
After Humahuaca, we will get back on the truck to start our journey towards Salta.
Taking route 9, where we will have a drastic contrast in the scenery: from the rough and deserted views we will enter the Yunga forest, with almost none transition time.
Along this road, we will find a lot of rivers, forest, flora and fauna.
Once we get to Salta, our tour will be concluded..
